A\u00a0large Update for Spark AR Studio<\/a> was released on May, 27th. Spark AR is used by MOVR to develop inspiring AR Camera Filters for companies using Instagram and Facebook for online marketing purposes.<\/p>

An interesting feature besides other new ones like “AR Music<\/a>“, is the possibility to access already existing photos and pictures from within the AR filter (“Gallery Picker<\/strong>“).<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>

What does this function have to do with the current situation about Corona\/Covid-19?<\/span><\/p>

We developed some\u00a0new AR Filters<\/a>\u00a0for the local Carnival Season 2020<\/b> (in Cologne) at the beginning of this year. Among theses there was an AR Camera Effect called “True friends<\/b>” (op k\u00f6lsch: “Echte Fr\u00fcnde”) for Instagram and Facebook. That AR Face Filter increases the amount of special FX (Confetti, Sounds etc.) the more friends or people are gathering in front of the smartphone camera.<\/p>

The Inspiration for that filter came from the famous Carnival song\u00a0 “Echte Fr\u00fcnde (stonn zesame)<\/a><\/strong>” by the Cologne based Band\u00a0H\u00f6hnern\u00a0<\/a>and should motivate people to see old friends again and meet new ones.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We respect the rules about social distancing<\/strong> during the Corona\/Covid-19 situation and therefore we haven’t published the filter with that first concept (yet). With the support of the new “Gallery Picker” function we could develop a new version of that AR Filter: the user will be able to pick an existing picture of a friend or a group of friends and pose with them virtually in front of the camera<\/strong>.<\/p>
